In 2025, the Faculty of Architecture of UNAM will host the IASS 2025 Symposium from October 27 to 31 at the Colegio de Ingenieros Civiles de México (CICM), located in the southern part of the city, near UNAM’s Central Campus — about a 10-minute drive away.
The Colegio de Ingenieros Civiles de México (CICM) is a prominent civil engineering association in Mexico, founded in 1946. It oversees the professional practice of civil engineering in the country, upholding legal, ethical, and moral standards. Throughout its history, the CICM has collaborated with government institutions and professional organizations to promote the engineering profession, organize national and international congresses, and support education and research in the field. Its efforts have significantly contributed to the development of Mexico’s infrastructure and engineering community.
The CICM works closely with the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) through various agreements that foster academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation.
