With this tour, we will explore the emblematic neighborhood of Coyoacán, beginning along Francisco Sosa Street—one of the oldest and most beautiful colonial streets in Mexico City—which leads to Jardín Centenario, the historical, cultural, and social heart of the area.
We will also visit the Coyoacán Market, a traditional marketplace offering fresh produce, handicrafts, and typical Mexican dishes.
The tour continues through the Dominican Ex-Convent and the Parish of San Juan Bautista, followed by a visit to the National Museum of Popular Cultures, a space dedicated to intercultural dialogue, knowledge, and the appreciation of Mexico’s cultural diversity.
After lunch, we will visit the Anahuacalli Museum, an iconic cultural landmark in southern Mexico City featuring 23 exhibition halls that display more than 2,000 pre-Hispanic pieces from Diego Rivera’s personal collection. The museum is surrounded by an ecological reserve of over 40,000 m² with native vegetation and several natural wells.
Note: The neighborhood offers a wide variety of dining options for lunch (not included in the programme fee).
